It funny how the simple things can be the biggest things as well. Take socks for instance. Most of the time socks are just something you put on your feet. However when you are walking for a long period of time socks play a very important part. For that reason there has been a lot written about socks on the Camino Forums and in books. Here is my take on the socks and what I will be using.
For most of my training I have been using sock liners and wool socks and that has been working well. I had read about these toe socks that are suppose to help with blisters. So I tried them out. These are from Injinji.
I will admit that I forgot to change out my socks midway in the day. I am sure that would have helped. Funny my feet just felt comfortable and dry all day.
Everyone has to try and find what works best for them. I will be bringing a few pair of these with me for sure.
